Bio: Artist's Statement: Conceptual Spacial-(ism) is the term which attempts at describing my work, I have invented it and it is my reference point. In case of the dry pastel on paper media, which I love & use extensively, I use this classical material in a new & contemporary way. I apply the material to the surface flatly, (no smudging, just strokes). Although most of my work references the flatness of the paper, I like to give it a hint at 3-dimensionality, as well as other references. The subject matter in my work is... I'd rather say that overall my work is loaded with various subjects: i'm inspired by the social, political, sociological, psychological currents in our contemporary society. However, at the same time each art piece, or a series of pieces, is focused on the subject at hand.
