Bio: Most of the years of my San Francisco life have been involved with the restoration of an 1884 Victorian house in Hayes Valley. The acquired skills and materials used in the monumental labor of love have frequently found their way into my work. Recently, I’ve begun experimenting with adding decorative wall stenciling to my collage technique, applying the process to works on panels and objects. Decorative painting is now my newest passion –whether faux finishing furniture or creating a painted finish for your home.

Drawing continues to be the basis for much of what I do. I am indebted to Mark Chester’s Gay Men’s Sketch group as a laboratory for the exploration of the male nude. Pen & Ink is my primary medium for sketching; however, recently I've begun drawing on colored paper with colored pencil. Those drawings have inspired oil paintings and more elaborate art pieces.
