Bio: Javier Manrique most recent solo shows were in the spring of 2012 at the Museum of Anthropology in Xalapa Veracruz and at the Galeria Arroyo de la Plata in Zacatecas Mexico in 2010. During July and August of 2012 he participated in the group show titled 'Sin and Redemption' at the SF MOMA Artist Gallery.

In November 2012, Javier presented Frescomania, an artist residence at the de Young Museum in San Francisco.

Javier does in his printmaking in Mexico at the Museograbado in Zacatecas, El Obraje in Aguascalientes and Archivo Grafico in Mexico City.
He is programed to have a solo show at the Fundacion Sebastian in Mexico City in 2013.

He presently resides in San Francisco at Project Artaud where he is the current president.
